In-Home Consultation

Currently all of our appointments are private in-home consultations. Appointments are available in Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and surrounding counties.

Cost

$195 - $225

I am an In-Network provider for Aetna and Independence BlueCross plans, including Personal Choice and Keystone Health Plan East.

Contact Member Services to verify your coverage.

Other insurance providers may reimburse for consultations.

A travel fee may be assessed.

What is included?

A thorough history will be taken, feeding assistance will be given, and a customized plan will be provided for you and your baby. The consult lasts as long as needed. Most mothers' needs are met in about 60-90 minutes. Phone support is available post-consult.

- Weight check

- Comprehensive feeding assessment

- Latch assessment

- Pre-feed and post-feed weights

- Feeding plan

- Follow up phone consults

- All supplies necessary for the consult.

Prenatal Breastfeeding Education

Exclusively for expectant mothers. I will come to your home (or anywhere else you would like) to provide education specialized to your individual situation. I will take a health and personal history to identify any potential barriers to breastfeeding, and address any concerns you may have. This consult lasts approximately one hour, and helps expecting mothers to gain the knowledge and skills needed to be confident about breastfeeding. This service also provides an opportunity to build a relationship with a caring IBCLC that can help later on.
